Imported emails stuck in-queue, delays in processing

At around 1400EST, we began to have emails stuck in the import queue due to unusually high activity - we took remedial action by significantly increasing our back-end infrastructure, and manually processed all emails stuck in-queue.

This incident was fully resolved at 2000EST.
